Whether you have experience in the trades or are looking to break into the industry, Ferguson is hiring Inside Sales Representatives who are ready to help customers, solve problems, and learn the business from the ground up. Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Support Representative. This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associate in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy. For internal candidates: Associates currently aligned to a company branch location will be designated as hybrid employees and will not be eligible for a fully remote work arrangement through this role, regardless of their proximity to headquarters. Responsibilities Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions. Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders. Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers. Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions. Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system. Qualifications 0-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred. Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other trades is a plus Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell. Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner. Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments. Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus. General digital literacy including Microsoft Office. Pay Range: $18.71 - $29.92 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
