They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day. What you’ll do As part of Walmart America’s leading grocery store, you will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables our customers eat and feed to their families. Work in the deli and be on the frontlines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. Work in the bakery, helping customers celebrate special moments with cakes and other baked goods. Work in the dry grocery department to ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Regardless of the specific department, you will perform detailed cleaning of shelves and the department, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food products. What you’ll bring Help customers find the products they are looking for. Ensure high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce. Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.
