Sr. Staff Accountant

Our Client, a Healthcare organization, is looking for a Sr. Staff Accountant for their Tuba City, AZ location.


Responsibilities:

• Preparing and entering journal entries to the General Ledger system, analyzing and reconciling transactions within General Ledger accounts and activities from subsidiary ledgers to ensure accurate recording and closing of financial statements.
• Comply with legal regulations and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Assist in projecting future financial needs, taking into consideration the various projects undertaken by the organizations and also provide support to Senior Leaders and Directors in management of financial resources by means of a fiscally sound and Board approved capital and operations budget.
• Assisting with and/or processing payroll functions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration or business-related field
• Must have at least 3 years of experience using Workday in a healthcare business/accounting setting
