Business Data Analyst

Kforce's client in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Business Data Analyst to support multiple strategic initiatives across the organization. This is a newly created role designed for someone who can operate independently, bridge the gap between business and technology teams, and drive data-focused projects to completion. This individual will work cross-functionally with approximately 15 different teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data while partnering closely with developers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear development specifications
• Serve as the liaison between business users and development teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles
• Independently analyze data and perform backend investigations using SQL queries
• Work across multiple teams to identify, source, and validate data requirements
• Develop and maintain simple Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
• Conduct data analysis and troubleshooting to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Support multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data findings and business needs
• Possess a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to gather and translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions
• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Techno-Functional Analyst
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
• Hands-on experience writing and interpreting SQL queries
• Experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development
• Experience performing data analysis and working with complex datasets
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Experience gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare industry experience
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and use cases
• Experience supporting enterprise-level data initiatives and cross-functional teams
