About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Actuarial to play a pivotal role in shaping its strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Actuarial Team in delivering high-impact, data-driven insights that drive financial business objectives. This includes overseeing complex actuarial projects such as financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization. The role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in actuarial science, particularly in the areas of retiree health care benefits and individual insurance. Experience in Medicare Advantage, Med Supp, and/or life insurance is a plus. The Head of Actuarial will also be instrumental in the growth and development of the team and must be adept at communicating effectively with the C-suite and other departments. Applicants for the Head of Actuarial position at the company should be FSA with a minimum of 10 years' actuarial experience. The role requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also a strategic thinker and a strong leader. The ability to work on complex actuarial projects and provide data-driven insights is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in retiree health care benefits and individual insurance, with experience in Medicare Advantage, Med Supp, and/or life insurance being advantageous. Effective communication skills, particularly in engaging with the C-suite and other departments, are a key requirement for this role.
