Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Frederick, MD Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Urgent Care Physician or Nurse Practitioner Location: Frederick, MD Start: ASAP End: Dec 31, 2026 Schedule: PRN shifts. Typically 8:00a to 8:00p. Minimum 6 to 8 shifts per month (per Order notes). Openings: 1 Travel and Lodging: Lodging for consecutive days and mileage after 60 miles roundtrip (per Order notes) Position Overview Locum tenens Urgent Care coverage (per Order notes) Solo provider model with MA support (per Order notes) Clinical Scope General urgent care including physicals and common procedures such as I and D, suturing, digital blocks, pelvic exams, ingrown toenail and nail removal, burn care, fluorescein exam, joint reduction, EKG interpretation, and radiology interpretation (per Order notes) Patient volume noted as 20 to 40 patients per 12 hours (up to 4 patients per hour) (per Order notes) Must be comfortable seeing pediatrics age 2 and up (per Order notes) Site Details EMR: Experity (Velocidoc) (per Order notes) Onboarding includes EMR training plus an in clinic shadow shift (per Order notes) Required Qualifications Physician: Family Practice or Internal Medicine (per Order notes) NP: Family Nurse Practitioner (per Order notes) DEA and NPDB self query required (per Order notes) For NPs: Urgent Care experience required within the last year.
