In this position, you'll be responsible for coordinating shipments, optimizing transportation solutions, collaborating across multiple departments, and ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery.What You'll Do:Coordinate domestic and international shipments from planning through deliverySchedule and manage project tool requests, shipping requests, freight quotes, and transportation bookingsPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Material Handling, Production, Purchasing, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure shipment readiness and on-time deliveryWork directly with freight carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL/4PL partnersMonitor shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues before they impact customersPrepare and validate shipping documentation, commercial invoices, and trade compliance paperworkEnsure dangerous goods shipments are properly classified, documented, and transported according to current IATA regulationsTrack shipment status and provide timely updates to stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to reduce freight costs while maintaining service commitmentsFile and manage claims for lost or damaged shipments and implement corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and efficiencyWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, scheduling, or related operationsStrong understanding of domestic and international shipping processesExperience coordinating shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providersAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPointExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyPreferred Qualifications:Dangerous Goods CertificationAPICS or related supply chain certificationExperience in project scheduling or project-based logistics environmentsKnowledge of international trade compliance requirementsContinuous improvement experienceProject management experienceExperience working with ERP systems and scheduling toolsKnowledge of inventory optimization and supply chain analytics#LI-JO2Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
