This position focuses on delivering both direct and indirect minutes to a caseload of approximately 23 students, with one student currently learning Braille. You will not be required to case manage; instead, your expertise will directly impact student growth and access to an inclusive education.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active, valid Tennessee Educator License issued through TNCompass (Practitioner or Professional tiers welcome: Initial 3-year standard, alternative/job-embedded pathway, or 6-year advanced standard).
• Possess at least one of these TDOE Special Education endorsements:
  • Special Education Interventionist (K-8) – mild-to-moderate disabilities
  • Special Education Interventionist (6-12) – mild-to-moderate secondary
  • Special Education Comprehensive (K-12) – severe, profound, or multiple complex disabilities
  • Special Education Early Childhood (Pre-K-3) – early intervention expertise
• Experience providing specialized support in K-12 settings, fostering a positive and collaborative instructional atmosphere.

Your Role:

• Provide direct and indirect special education support to students in alignment with IEP goals and service minutes
• Adapt instruction to address various learning styles and needs, including Braille instruction for one student
• Collaborate with educational teams and related service providers to ensure successful student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation of services delivered as required by the district and state guidelines

This contract runs ASAP through late May 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
