MAC Admin

We are seeking an experienced Mac administrator to manage and maintain MacOS servers within a data center environment. The role involves ensuring security compliance, implementing organizational standards, and performing hands-on tasks such as server administration, patching, and automation of software and security updates through scripting tools. This position is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in MacOS server management and related technologies. Key Responsibilities Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Mac administrator to manage and maintain MacOS servers within a data center environment. The role involves ensuring security compliance, implementing organizational standards, and performing hands-on tasks such as server administration, patching, and automation of software and security updates through scripting tools. This position is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in MacOS server management and related technologies. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the support team to develop and execute server management plans. Resolve network identification issues and IP conflicts, overseeing DHCP and server IP configurations. Manage MacOS server administration tasks, ensuring servers are current with security controls and organizational compliance. Conduct hands-on management of MacOS servers, including patching and updates in a data center setting. Work with the support team to understand and implement server management strategies in a data center. Ensure servers are running the latest security software and operating system updates. Required Qualifications Strong understanding of server administration principles. Experience with MacOS server scripting and automation of software patching and security updates. Proven knowledge of DHCP, server IP configuration, and resolving network conflicts. Familiarity with managing OS environments, including software packaging and installation. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated experience as a server administrator. Proficiency in server configuration and scripting. Knowledge of server access and security configuration tools such as Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf, etc. Extensive experience working with MacOS servers. Understanding of server virtualization technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
