BOM & Engineering Change Management Specialist - Automotive

Position: Long Term Contract (Possible Extension) We are seeking a BOM & Engineering Change Management Specialist to support and optimize Electronic Bill of Material (EBOM) and Engineering Change Management processes across multiple regions and functional teams. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for BOM structures, change control processes, and PLM/PDM systems while providing technical guidance and process support to engineering and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Electronic Bills of Material (EBOM) and Engineering Change processes. Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and related documentation. Support process improvements and standardization across engineering and industrial functions. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product data within PLM/PDM systems. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and program teams to implement product changes. Provide technical guidance, training, and support related to BOM and change management processes. Assist with system optimization, process documentation, and workflow improvements. Monitor and resolve BOM discrepancies, change control issues, and data management concerns. Support global teams with configuration management and product release activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field. Experience with Bill of Material (BOM) management and Engineering Change processes. Knowledge of Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and configuration management. Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, SAP, or similar tools. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments. Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes. Experience supporting global engineering or manufacturing teams.
