Nuclear Medicine Technologist Pet/Ct - Prn

A pet/ct technologist performs nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and diagnostic ct procedures or therapies at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user.

• Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring.
• Receive, relay and document all verbal, written and electronic orders in the patient's medical record.
• Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices.

• Required: 2 year degree in nuclear medicine
• Required: one of the following is required certifications/licensures: (certified nuclear medicine technology (n)(arrt), nuclear medicine technology certification board (nmtcb))
• Preferred: 4 year degree in nuclear medicine
• Certifications/licensures: (one of the following is required certifications within one year of hire: certified computed tomography (ct) (arrt) or certified nuclear medicine technologist (nmtcb) (ct))
