Electromechanical Assembler

Electromechanical AssemblerWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to assemble, wire, test, and inspect precision electronic programming systems and related electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate has experience interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics, assembling mechanical and electrical components, and maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssemble electromechanical systems, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications.Install and route wiring, harnesses, connectors, switches, sensors, motors, and other electronic components.Perform cable preparation, crimping, soldering, and connector termination as required.Conduct functional testing, inspections, and troubleshooting to verify product performance and quality.Identify, diagnose, and correct assembly or wiring issues while maintaining production schedules.Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and electrical test equipment safely and accurately.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and support process improvements.Follow all company safety procedures, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) requirements, and quality management standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and assembly documentation.Experience with wiring, cable assembly, crimping, soldering, and mechanical assembly.Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, calipers, and other precision measuring devices.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation.Preferred QualificationsTechnical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.Forklift certification.Experience assembling electronic manufacturing or semiconductor equipment.Knowledge of ISO quality systems and continuous improvement practices.
