Service Technician

York Electronic Systems, Inc. (YES) is seeking Service Technicians to join our team! YES is an Oklahoma based, Native American woman owned company that provides design, engineering, consulting, construction, installation and service  for building technology solutions including safety, security, communications and audio-visual systems.

Service Technician

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Coordinate daily with office and service coordinator.
• Answer Client calls promptly and professionally.
• Service, troubleshoot, repair and installation on a variety of life safety systems.
• Participation in an on-call rotation.
• Perform routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
• Fill out and review Work Orders to insure completeness of work and correctness of documentation. Input as applicable into software.
• Type or otherwise prepare reports and submit as required.
• Maintain and keep up to date on service billings observing required turn-around time.
• Ensure that all material and equipment need for each work order is available and complete before leaving the office.
• Maintains high standard of performance in teamwork, quality, experience, and customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills necessary:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with low-voltage systems including fire alarm, cctv, card access, nurse call and security systems.
• High school degree. College a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong customer service and human relations skills.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Minimum of 5 years of programing complicated fire alarm systems or certification in Gamewell or other large platform life safety product.
• Must have good driving record and clean background
• Must have a “can do” attitude and work well with others.
• Must hold a minimum of a Oklahoma Alarm License.
• Nicet I or II in Fire Alarm is a plus.
