Scale House Assistant
We are seeking a skilled scale house assistant with experience with Microsoft office, computers, sending emails, and the use of weighing trucks with a computer system. This role involves general labor tasks and requires proficiency in communication skills/ability to complete tasks.
Responsibilities
- Verified that driver documentation matched the material coming in.
- Ensured accuracy of load information, including weight, material type, and ticket details.
- Weighed incoming and outgoing trucks and accurately entered all data into the computer system
- Organized and maintained all scale tickets and related documentation in an orderly manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in communication skills and use of computers
- Familiarity with the recycling and resale of aggregates is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment involves operating within an 80-acre quarry in Prospect Park, NJ, that specializes in sorting and recycling demolition debris. The quarry is equipped with multiple quarry crusher machines. The role is supported by a dedicated team including admin staff, project managers, a sales representative, and an environmental engineer. Work is conducted in collaboration with multiple companies and the project is expected to continue until 2055.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prospect Park, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
