ServiceNow Integration Engineer

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in ServiceNow platform engineering and enterprise system integrations.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server architecture, and REST/SOAP web service protocols.

• Experience with JavaScript and GlideScript for Business Rules, Script Includes, and Scripted REST APIs.

• Experience in Import Sets, Transform Maps, and automated data ingestion into the CMDB.

• Experience with ServiceNow modules across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM lifecycle implementations.

• Experience in authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and active Certified System Administrator status.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations connecting ServiceNow to internal and third-party systems.

• Configure custom IntegrationHub spokes, Flow Designer actions, and subflows using REST and SOAP endpoints.

• Deploy and manage distributed MID Servers to support secure data exchange between on-premises and cloud platforms.

• Author robust server-side GlideScript and client-side JavaScript to implement custom business logic and error handling.

• Populate and reconcile configuration items within the enterprise CMDB using Discovery feeds and transform maps.

• Implement data security standards, OAuth 2.0 credential governance, and encryption protocols for all API transactions.

• Troubleshoot integration pipeline failures, resolve root causes, and conduct impact assessments for platform upgrades.
