We are seeking a dedicated professional in the healthcare field to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse. This full-time role is based in Jamaica, NY, requiring onsite presence from Monday to Friday, 04:00pm-12:00am. The position involves providing vital patient care and requires proficiency in general healthcare technologies.
• Experience in patient care, including checking vital signs and administering injections.
• Ability to record detailed patient care reports and maintain medical records.
• Proficiency in handling patient charts and data entry into computer systems.
• Capability to follow physician and registered nurse orders effectively.
• Experience in wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.
• Strong communication skills for reinforcing instructions and notifying significant findings.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide emotional support to patients.
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
• Proven experience in a similar healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
• Proficient in general healthcare technologies and patient data management.
• Capability to initiate emergency assistance per policies and procedures.
