Machinist/CNC Operator

Machinist/CNC Operator Modern Forge is actively recruiting Machinists/CNC Operators at our Illinois facility. Apply now! Position Description This position is responsible for performing set up and operation of numerical control machines or machining centers to perform various functions. This includes the completion of all relevant machine procedures and documentation of jobs. A successful candidate must be able to read and interpret 3D models, use micrometers, gages, and other various inspection equipment to assure machining accuracy. The individual must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds, bend, stand, and move throughout the duration of the shift. Recommended Requirements/Experience Previous experience with CNC machines or education is a plus.
