General Manager

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive hotel growth and profitability, analyze market trends, set long‑term goals, and achieve objectives. Team Leadership: Lead a diverse team of department heads and staff, provide guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities, and foster a collaborative, motivated work environment. Operations Management: Oversee all operational departments—front office, maintenance, accounting, sales & marketing, housekeeping, food & beverage, banquets, etc.—to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and maintain high service quality. Financial Management: Create and manage the hotel’s budget, allocate resources, monitor performance, analyze variances, implement corrective actions, and drive revenue generation through strategic pricing and upselling. Guest Experience: Cultivate a guest‑centric culture that prioritizes personalized service, addresses concerns promptly, and implements initiatives that enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Facilities Management: Maintain and improve the hotel’s physical assets, implement sustainability initiatives, and manage capital projects. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure compliance with local and national requirements. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of progressive hospitality experience, including at least 2 years as a General Manager. Strong background in maintenance and facilities management. College degree or equivalent education and experience, preferably in Hospitality or Travel & Tourism Management. Exceptional leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to varying shifts (weekends and holidays), and maintain a positive work environment. Hilton experience preferred. Compensation $165,000 - $190,000, with additional bonus potential, 401(k) matching, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and PTO benefits.
