Empower students and make a real difference as an Occupational Therapist working with K-12 learners in a dynamic, full-time, full school year position. This onsite, contract opportunity focuses on supporting schools across El Dorado County, based centrally near Folsom, CA. You’ll be welcomed into a diverse educational community and play a crucial role in nurturing the independence and skills of students with moderate to severe needs.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure, with eligibility to practice in California
• Previous experience working in California school settings highly valued
• Background providing direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students
• Skilled at conducting assessments, delivering IEP recommendations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable managing itinerant roles and traveling to various school sites as needed
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
• Sincere commitment to supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering hands-on, direct occupational therapy services to students on an itinerant basis
• Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress
• Providing consultative support to teachers and school staff to promote student success
• Participating actively in IEP meetings and collaborating with families and educational teams
• Traveling between multiple sites within the district as part of your caseload assignment
