School Nurse Contract Opportunity

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Clinical experience in a school setting preferred
• Adept at managing high-stress situations with a calm, solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
• Skilled in maintaining student health records and documenting incidents accurately
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Able to work full-time, onsite throughout the contract duration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to students, including immediate response to health emergencies and daily medical needs
• Assess, plan, and implement care plans for students with a variety of health conditions
• Educate students and staff on matters of health, wellness, and disease prevention
• Maintain clear, concise records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Collaborate with school staff to create a safe and supportive environment for all students
