One of our clients is seeking an Occupational Therapist CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS/ROLE TYPE Full-Scheduled Role | 35 hours/week | Earn up to $72/hour School-Based SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides specialized services to support the academic success, independence, and overall well-being of students with disabilities or developmental delays. The OT evaluates students' needs, develops individualized intervention plans, and collaborates with teachers, staff, and families to ensure access to the educational environment in accordance with state and federal regulations. CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher) from an accredited program Current Michigan OT license; NBCOT certification preferred School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred Knowledge of Michigan school-based regulations and federal IDEA, Section 504, and ADA requirements Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with the IEP team Provide direct and consultative OT services in individual, group, and classroom settings DTG ADVANTAGES Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health and special education.
