Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Provide care and communication strategies for patients with dementia and cognitive-communication disorders

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a subacute, SNF, or geriatric rehabilitation environment
• Experience providing care to patients with dementia and related cognitive-communication impairments
