Associate Doctor of Optometry (OD)
Locations: Smithfield, NC | Holly Springs, NC
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Schedule: 4-5 days per week | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Associate Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care in an established, independent private practice. The role includes routine examinations, medical optometry, ocular disease management, dry eye treatment, and myopia management.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases.
Develop treatment and follow-up plans.
Provide dry eye and myopia management.
Prescribe corrective lenses and educate patients on eye health.
Maintain accurate clinical records.
Collaborate with doctors and support staff.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
Appropriate North Carolina optometry license.
Strong clinical and communication skills.
Interest in comprehensive eye care and ocular disease management.

Clinical Technology
Optos retinal imaging and OCT.
Humphrey and FDT visual field testing.
Corneal and scleral topography.
Advanced dry eye treatments, including IPL and RF.
Myopia management and medical optometry services.
