ServiceNow Developer

Our client, a leading IT Services company, are hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join the team in New York on a contract basis. The successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity to lead the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge ServiceNow solutions that improve service delivery and align with the company’s business objectives. Responsibilities As the ServiceNow Developer, you will head the development team in the design, implementation, and upkeep of ServiceNow applications and modules. You will design and build custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. Execute complex business logic through scripting, including client scripts, business rules, and UI policies. Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and assess requirements, transforming them into technical specifications. Conduct code reviews and ensure comprehensive testing of developed solutions to uphold high-quality standards. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain thorough technical documentation, including design specifications, development notes, and user guides. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering skill development and the implementation of best practices within the team. Skillset Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar. Minimum of seven years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, demonstrating a successful history of implementations. Proven experience in leading development teams or projects within a ServiceNow environment. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow-specific scripting languages. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM and ITBM. Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs for integration with third-party applications.
