Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled EP Lab Tech to provide specialized support in electrophysiology procedures within a busy cath lab environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain electrophysiology mapping systems and associated equipment for procedures.
- Assist physicians during ablations, device implants, and extractions by ensuring optimal technical setup.
- Adhere to unit policies and dress codes to maintain a sterile and professional environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to ensure functionality throughout procedures.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth workflow and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least 1 year of cath lab or electrophysiology scrub experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency with electrophysiology equipment such as Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic.
- Hold current certification as a Radiology or EP Tech.
- Be flexible, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing workflow.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
