Quick Facts Location: Dayton, OH (Children's Plaza) Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: 11/16/2026 Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 (Monday through Friday) Hours/Week: 35 hours Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Ohio Medical License, DEA, Life Certifications, CAQH login required Experience: At least 2 years of pediatric anesthesia experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $0.00 (discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Travel & licensure reimbursements (mileage, rental car, hotel, flight) 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide pediatric anesthesia services for 50-60 surgical cases daily in a hospital-based OR setting Supervise CRNAs in a care team model, practicing both solo and supervisory roles Manage anesthesia care for neonatal to adult patients Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, surgeons, APPs, and surgical techs Ensure high standards of patient safety and care in a busy trauma center Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and regulations What You Need Required: Ohio medical license and DEA registration Certification in Life Support (ACLS, PALS) Minimum of 2 years pediatric anesthesia experience Ability to supervise CRNAs and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred: Experience working in Level 1 trauma centers Familiarity with pediatric anesthesia in a hospital setting About the Assignment This assignment is at a prominent hospital in Dayton, Ohio, part of a respected healthcare system. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with 14 ORs and a busy emergency department serving approximately 70,000 annual ER visits. The anesthesiology team comprises 22 professionals working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care across a wide range of surgical and trauma cases.
