Phlebotomist Float – Raritan, NJ Work Schedule Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 4:30pm (scheduled hours vary) Rotating Saturdays: 7:00am – 11:00am Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Valid research: Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Minimum age of 21 years. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Reliable transportation for travel to additional sites. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Clean driving record with reliable transportation. Pay Range and Incentives Base pay: $17.75 – $27.89 per hour, based on skill and experience. Float incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. PST incentive: Quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
