Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and is searching for our next key player to join our production team. As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be an integral part of our success and growth. This role is responsible for building wire harness products, and more. This is a 2nd shift position, M-Th (9 hour shift) F (4 hour shift) with a 2:30pm start time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build Wire Harness from documentation
• Crimp terminals on wire
• Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc.
• Make harnesses on harness boards utilizing schematics, 2D documents, and engineering part numbers
• Identify issues with reports and work with engineering to correct issues
• Document QC and problem resolution logs
• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work area
• Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
• Identify and assist in process improvement measures
• Assist in training measures as needed
• Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed
• Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
• Proficiency using precision measurement tools (tape measure, ruler, etc.)
• Experience working in an ISO environment preferred
• High motivation level and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work with independently with limited supervision
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
• Safety awareness and practice
• Good math and communication skills
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter
• Ability to work overtime depending on workload

Physical Requirements:

• Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Hourly Pay: $18.50-$21.00 DOE
