Rheumatologist Opportunity

A healthcare organization in New Hartford is seeking two Board-Eligible, Board-Certifiable, or Board-Certified Rheumatologists to join a collaborative medical team that provides specialized care for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions. The Rheumatologist will diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune disorders. The role will primarily involve outpatient care, with the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive treatment and long-term disease management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat autoimmune and inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and other connective tissue disorders
• Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
• Interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies related to rheumatologic conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and biologic therapies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical collaboration
