Line Cook Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and motivated line cook who has a passion for cooking and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to preparing high-quality food while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations.
- Set up and stock assigned stations before and during service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
- Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and end-of-shift cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and organized.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay is based on experience. Eligible employees may receive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
