**Job Title: ** Copier Field Technician

**Responsibilities: **

1. **Installation: ** Set up and install copier and multifunction printer equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper functionality and user training.

2. **Maintenance: ** Perform routine maintenance on copiers to ensure optimal performance, including cleaning, replacing parts, and updating software.

3. **Repair: ** Diagnose and troubleshooting issues with copiers and printers, providing timely repairs either on-site or in-house as needed.

4. **Customer Service: ** Interact with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and educate them on equipment usage and maintenance.

5. **Documentation: ** Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies used.

6. **Collaboration: ** Work closely with other technicians and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any technical issues.

7. **Staying Updated: ** Keep current with industry trends, new technologies, and product updates to provide informed service.

**Qualifications: **

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.

- Experience in copier repair or a similar technical field.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Physical Requirements: **

- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

This role often requires a mix of technical expertise and customer interaction, making it essential for the technician to be both skilled and personable.
