Assistant Manager

Summary The Assistant Manager helps deliver a memorable customer shopping experience while generating sales and operating profit for the store. This role leads the sales floor, builds client relationships, and partners with the General Manager to support the store team. Responsibilities Manage sales and profit performance, sales goals, and operating budgets. Coach, mentor, recruit, and develop associates while supporting exceptional customer service. Maintain a welcoming store environment, execute visual presentation initiatives, and support loss prevention procedures. Provide feedback to buying and allocation teams and execute promotional strategies. Requirements Relevant work experience preferred. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to guide and motivate individuals using teamwork and staff development skills. Analytical, business, and financial acumen; computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred. Ability to maneuver throughout the store, lift up to 30 pounds, climb a ladder, and stand, move, and walk for multiple hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr
