Temporary HR Business Partner (5-Month Assignment) – Scope of Work

Overview

Under the direction of the Sr. Advisor(s), HR Business Partners, provide interim HR Business Partner support to designated business units, delivering strategic and day-to-day HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, policy interpretation, workforce planning, and change management. Partner with leaders and employees to ensure consistent application of HR policies, employment practices, and organizational objectives during the assignment period.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partner Support

• In conjunction with the Sr. Advisor(s), HRBPs serve as the primary HR contact for assigned client groups.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent decisions, and workforce planning.
• Coach managers on HR policies, processes, and best practices.
• Support onboarding and internal employee movement activities.

Employee Relations

• Provide consultation and guidance on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation.
• Support disciplinary actions and investigations as needed.
• Recommend resolutions where appropriate.

Organizational & Change Management

• Together with the Sr. Advisor(s), HRBPs, advise leaders on organizational design, restructuring, and workforce changes.
• Support change management initiatives and ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws.
• Assist with implementation of HR-related projects and initiatives.

Policy & Compliance

• Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to address compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and talent management needs.
• Identify and mitigate employee-related compliance risks.
• Maintain and update HR documentation, guidance, and related resources as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with HR, Finance, BTS, etc. and business leaders to support organizational priorities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for managers and employees throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of HR generalist or HRBP experience.
• Strong employee relations, performance management, and organizational development experience.
• Ability to support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• PHR or SHRM certification and international HR experience preferred.

Assignment Duration

Temporary assignment of approximately five (5) months, providing interim HR Business Partner coverage and support for assigned client groups and key HR initiatives.
