Job Description Job Summary: The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist specializes in operating ionizing equipment to produce high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes. This role involves evaluating images, communicating effectively with patients and healthcare teams, and adhering to departmental procedures to ensure accurate and efficient imaging services. Responsibilities: Operate ionizing equipment to capture diagnostic radiographs of various body regions. Evaluate radiographs to ensure images meet diagnostic standards and provide relevant information. Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns. Follow established departmental protocols to maintain consistency and quality in imaging services. Demonstrate the ability to handle emergent situations with appropriate clinical judgment. Maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements, including continuing education. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiologic Technology program. Hold an active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Possess an active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana. Demonstrate evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements. Be CPR certified, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
