Position Details

• Position: RN – PCU / Med-Surg / Telemetry
• Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract Length: 90 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Holiday Requirement: Every Other Holiday (EOH)
• Floating: Required within skill set and to affiliated sites within a 40-mile radius if needed.

Schedule and Requirements

• Night shift (12.5-hour shifts)
• Traveler may be assigned to PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry based on the facility's greatest need and the traveler's clinical experience.
• Must be willing to float between units and nearby facilities within a 40-mile radius.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care experience in:
  • PCU (Progressive Care Unit), or
  • Med-Surg/Telemetry.
• Facility will also consider candidates with either Med-Surg or Stepdown (PCU) backgrounds, as both share the same credentialing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry settings.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Manage cardiac telemetry monitoring and respond to patient condition changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Float to different units or affiliated facilities based on patient care needs and competency.
