Harmony Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking a bilingual aesthetician fluent in English and Spanish to join our growing wellness and aesthetics team.

This is a commission-based opportunity, with compensation structured as a percentage of services performed. The position is ideal for a motivated aesthetician who is interested in building a strong client base, growing professionally, and contributing to the continued development of our practice.

We take a personalized, client-focused approach to aesthetics, prioritizing thoughtful treatment recommendations, client education, and meaningful results. Our goal is to provide care that is intentional, effective, and aligned with each client’s individual needs.

The selected candidate will work in a practice offering advanced aesthetic technologies, including intense pulsed light, Fotona SP Dynamis Pro, CO₂ and Q-switched lasers, Agnes RF, Scarlet RF, and other aesthetic and wellness treatments.

The aesthetician will perform services that fall within the scope of their Maryland license and may assist with client education, preparation, aftercare, documentation, and treatment coordination for medical procedures performed by appropriately licensed clinical providers.

Training on specific treatments and technologies may be available depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations and comprehensive skin analyses.
• Recommend appropriate skincare services based on each client’s concerns, goals, skin type, and treatment history.
• Perform facials, chemical peels, cosmetic microneedling, and other advanced skincare treatments within the permitted scope of the aesthetician’s license.
• Perform approved aesthetic treatments and use authorized devices when appropriately trained and permitted under applicable regulations.
• Assist the clinical team with client preparation, education, photography, aftercare, documentation, and treatment coordination for laser, radiofrequency, and other medical aesthetic procedures.
• Develop personalized skincare and treatment plans and support clients throughout their treatment journey.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, treatment preparation, post-treatment care, and realistic expectations.
• Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, consent forms, photographs, and progress documentation.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, infection-control, privacy, and treatment protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment.
• Build lasting client relationships through consistent, attentive, and high-quality care.
• Thoughtfully recommend skincare products, treatment packages, and follow-up services based on each client’s individual needs.
• Support client retention, rebooking, and practice growth.
• Capture professional before-and-after photographs and assist with appropriate social media content.
• Stay informed about current aesthetic techniques, technologies, products, and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Active Maryland aesthetician or esthetician license in good standing is required.
• At least one to two years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, aesthetics, or wellness environment is preferred.
• Experience performing facials, chemical peels, cosmetic microneedling, and advanced skincare treatments.
• Experience conducting skin assessments and developing personalized skincare plans.
• Experience working in a practice that offers laser or energy-based treatments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with intense, pulsed light, Agnes RF, or Scarlet RF is a plus.
• Ability to clearly explain skincare treatments, preparation, aftercare, and long-term skincare recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to create a welcoming, personalized, and high-quality experience for every client.
• Basic social media skills, including capturing before-and-after photographs and short videos for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Comfortable contributing to client retention, rebooking, treatment-plan follow-up, and practice growth.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position, with compensation provided as a percentage of eligible services performed.

The specific commission percentage, eligible services, product-sales incentives, scheduling expectations, and other compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
