May 24, 2026 Division: New Jersey Main Project Location(s): Bridgewater, NJ 08807 USA Travel Involved: Job Type: Regular Job Classification: Entry Education: Job Family: Construction Compensation: Salaried Non-Exempt Position Description: The ENGINEERING ASSISTANT is involved in the engineering and administration of projects, in the Special Projects Division (SPD) or in other Business Unit departments. Reports To: Project Engineer or Engineer Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Assist in obtaining & reviewing information & approvals for processing of shop drawings, product data & samples. Assist in the communication of this information across all levels of the project team. * Assist in managing other aspects of communication including submission & responses for Requests for Information (RFI's). * Assist in preparing estimates for changes in the work including review of Change Order requests from subcontractors. * Study contract drawings, specifications, & shop drawings to ensure proper coordination & installation. * Assist in the maintenance & updating of contract documents, electronic web-based documents, & project logs.

• Distribute information required for construction to appropriate parties.
• Assist engineering to ensure that materials & equipment are released for

fabrication or manufacture in time to meet the construction schedule. * Assist in the preparation of final records for the project including close-out documents, Operations/Maintenance Manuals, etc. Position Description: The FIELD ENGINEER position will be assigned to the field operations team & will assist in obtaining, evaluating, & coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with the contract documents & to assure that the work meets all safety standard, is within schedule requirements, & is constructed to the highest level of quality possible. The Field Engineer in the performance of its duties shall be responsible for the protection & promotion of the interest of Turner & all matters. Reports To: Project Superintendent or Superintendent Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform line & grade work for building layout & control as required.
• Assist in the implementation of the site safety program as required &

ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards & all applicable safety codes & regulations. * Assist in the maintenance of contract documents & electronic web-based documents for field operations.

• Assist in the preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR's).
• Review all work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within

accepted tolerances. * Review contract drawings, specifications & shop drawings to ensure proper coordination & installation. * Assist in the preparation of project as-builts. Note: Depending on business need and location, you may be assigned to work at an active construction project site in one of our many specialties or in a department located at the main office. The salary range for this position is estimated to be 72,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD annualized. Qualifications: Two years of college education from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction, or relevant education Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications Basic understanding of scheduling programs, desired.
