Associate Attorney

Firm: Hirzel Law, PLC. We are one of the fastest-growing HOA and condo law firms in the country. Hirzel Law is hiring an associate attorney to support real estate, condominium, and HOA litigation. We're looking for someone who performs well under pressure, owns their work, and wants to grow fast. HOA experience isn't required. What matters most is issue spotting, sharp writing, and a drive to get results. You'll work directly with clients, make an impact early, and build a career here with real room to grow. What You Will Do Handle real estate, condominium, and HOA litigation, starting with more straightforward cases and building your caseload alongside senior attorneys and members Take on more ownership as you go, developing your skills in motion practice, hearings, and client strategy along the way Work closely with your team to get strong results and keep clients well taken care of Help grow the firm through blogs, speaking at events, and presentations Learn how we lead and manage as you take on more responsibility Skills to Succeed Strong written and oral advocacy skills, and a drive to get things done Confidence under pressure and the ability to build trust quickly Discipline and organization to consistently hit court and client deadlines Curiosity and determination to master our niche and keep improving Comfort with technology, tracking metrics, and working toward clear goals Requirements Licensed to practice law in Michigan 1 to 3 years of litigation experience; real estate or HOA experience is a plus but not required Strong writing, research, and client communication skills, with a genuine commitment to excellence Meet an annual billable-hour requirement of 1,500 hours Alignment with our core values: dependable, excellent communicator, exceptional work product, focused, team player, passionate Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $115,000 to $140,000, depending on experience Quarterly bonus opportunities tied to firm performance 401(k) with firm match (4% on 5%), comprehensive health insurance, 8 weeks paid parental leave plus 4 weeks unpaid, and unlimited vacation Hybrid flexibility available after onboarding A transparent path to increased responsibility and compensation based on results Nationally recognized as a leader in HOA and condominium law A transparent, team-focused culture where strategy, metrics, and goals are shared openly Real opportunities to grow quickly and take on meaningful responsibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
