Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. Must start by 12/18/2026. No holiday requests for time off are permitted. A maximum of 5 days request for time off is allowed. Nurses will work 3x12-hour day shifts. Cross-training and floating to other campuses and observation units will be required. The average nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 during the day and 1:6 during the night. Years of experience preferred is 2 years; however, 1.5 years from a comparable facility will be accepted. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts are required every other week. No on-call duty is required. Traveling staff will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedules. Makeup shifts will be scheduled on the following weekend if a traveler calls out on their scheduled weekend shift. If a traveler calls out for their makeup shift, it will automatically be rescheduled to the immediate following weekend. Staffing needs will dictate all make-up shift arrangements. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and more. Daily patient census averages 120, with approximately 300 visits per day. This role involves care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Specific equipment used includes technology support for blood draws, vital checks, and daily care assistance. The facility has a locked psychiatric unit staffed by specialized personnel. Travel experience is required, and trauma level experience is mandatory for applicants.
