Position information This is an hourly position that is on demand with competitive pay Substitutes will be scheduled for all shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 am to 6:30 pm This position reports to the Center Director This position has no supervisory responsibilities What You’ll Do Ability to travel and cover positions within the district (locations include Ashland, Chester, Colonial Heights, Mechanicsville, Midlothian, and Richmond) Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students Support children through learning, play, meals, and rest Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment Collaborate with your team to develop creative curriculum ideas Communicate with families daily through mobile apps and personal updates Cover lunch, breaks, and other duties as assigned Love children and early childhood education Are committed to the families and communities we serve Love teaching and know how to create teachable moments Are passionate about education and lifelong learning Believe that parents are partners in their child’s education What You Bring CDA, ECE certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent coursework) Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role for a licensed childcare or educational facility required Active enrollment in an accredited program may be considered with experience Ability to meet Virginia licensing standards and pass a background check Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs Compensation The hourly rate for this positions is between $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. The pay range listed here is what LLE Group in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
