– Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth clinic operations.

– Prepare and manage exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient visits.

– Obtain vital signs, patient history, and other relevant clinical information.

– Chart patient interactions accurately using electronic health record systems, specifically Epic.

– Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, phone communication, and patient check-in/check-out processes.

– Float between clinic locations as needed, supporting staffing needs across different outpatient settings.

– Maintain a clean, organized environment to promote safety and efficiency.

– Adhere to clinic protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

– Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) with valid licensure in the state.

– At least 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in a clinical outpatient environment.

– Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based clinic setting.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to document patient information accurately and efficiently.

– Dependability and commitment to patient care.

– Must live within a 50-mile radius of Seattle, WA.

– Experience specifically in family medicine, adult, or pediatric outpatient clinics preferred.

– Internal Medicine experience is a plus but not required.

– Must be willing to work a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

– Willingness to float between multiple clinic locations in downtown and central Seattle.

– Ability to commit to working at least three holidays per year (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

– Two recent references covering at least 6 months of employment within the last three years.

– Ability to start ASAP and commit to the 13-week contract with potential for full-time employment afterward.

– Flexibility to work in a team environment with varying clinician-to-MA ratios.

– First-time candidates are welcome with prior outpatient experience.
