Your day-to-day responsibilities may include providing clinical assistance, performing health checks, managing medications, and responding to student health needs throughout the school day. Specialized skills in tracheostomy tube care are strongly preferred, as you may support students with complex health requirements. Desired background and experience:

• Active California LVN/LPN license in good standing
• Experience working as an LPN/LVN in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
• Strongly prefer candidates with hands-on experience managing and caring for tracheostomy tubes
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, educators, and families
• Calm demeanor and rapid response skills in medical situations
• Reliable, responsible, and adaptable to changing needs throughout the school day

Role responsibilities:

• Offer dedicated 1:1 care and oversight for assigned students in the school environment
• Administer prescribed medications and provide routine medical interventions
• Monitor and maintain tracheostomy equipment as needed
• Partner with educational staff to promote student participation in classroom and school activities
• Recognize and respond to health emergencies following established protocols
