Primary Care Physician

Role The Primary Care Physician (PCP) provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings, performing assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and developing care plans. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in clinical rounds, and document thoroughly per quality standards. The PCP assesses acute and chronic issues, orders diagnostics, refers to specialists, and advocates for patients. They ensure compliance with regulations, participate in quality improvement, and facilitate patient education and discharge planning. Qualifications & Skills Requires MD or DO in internal, family medicine, or geriatrics; current medical license; board eligibility or certification; DEA license; BLS certification. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical, communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with a focus on quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and technology integration. Key Duties Assess and manage patient health independently within a team context. Perform physical exams, develop, document, and implement care plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and refer as needed. Participate in clinical rounds, conferences, and team collaboration.
