Locations : Malvern, PA / Charlotte, NC - Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $50 - $55/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing and database management, and will be competent in using various technologies to create efficient and scalable backend solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) development, particularly in AWS Lambda.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud Computing.
• Experience with databases such as Aurora and Dynamo DB.
• Familiarity with Liquidbase for database version control.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with NoSQL Key-Value databases.
• Understanding of the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.
• Experience in a hybrid work environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems to support various applications.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
