Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of advanced biotechnology products that treat serious and life-threatening diseases. This position requires working in a highly regulated GMP manufacturing facility, where you will operate equipment, complete detailed production documentation, inspect finished products, maintain inventory records, and ensure compliance with quality standards. You will spend approximately 90% of your shift inside cleanroom manufacturing suites and follow gowning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform routine troubleshooting.
• Complete detailed production documentation and maintain accuracy to avoid compliance risks.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain inventory records and follow standardized procedures.
• Execute processes exactly as written to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Support preventative maintenance of production machinery.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience in GMP or regulated environments with strict documentation requirements.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions accurately.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, food, or chemical manufacturing.
• CAPA experience and nonconformance investigations.
• Inventory management and exposure to SAP or MES systems.
• Associate degree in Science or Biotechnology.
• Strong communication, reliability, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask.

Work Environment

This facility operates within a pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing environment, offering a fast-paced but highly controlled setting. Employees will work in cleanroom manufacturing suites under strict GMP compliance standards, with frequent gowning and de-gowning required. The environment includes exposure to cold temperatures due to dry ice and cryogenic materials, and regulated biological materials. PPE, including hair coverings, gloves, protective gowns, face coverings, and safety glasses, will be provided. Employees should adhere to appearance restrictions, such as no nail polish or artificial nails, limited jewelry/piercings, and wearing closed-toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainville, MA.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Plainville,MA.
