We pride ourselves on living our core values of Family, Greatness, Energy and Fun while igniting the senses with our unrivaled food and experiences for our Guests and Team Members.Job ResponsibilitiesModel operational standards and execute critical behaviors to run great shifts creating lifelong memories for our guests and team members.Motivate and manage team members to provide highest level of hospitalityDemonstrate leadership with a focus on coaching and achieving excellenceFoster team engagement through frequent recognition and communication.Ensure compliance with sanitation, food and restaurant safety regulationsTrain Portillo’s team members on operations of the restaurantDeliver exceptional guest experiences, making each visit memorable and fostering connections.Responsible for executing shift planning, scheduling, training execution, and daily routines, opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handlingPlan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budget, and laborJob QualificationsMinimum of 1-3 years of Restaurant Management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting preferredWorking knowledge of restaurant operations, recruiting, scheduling, food planning and preparation, sanitation, food quality, and securityMust exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every levelUnderstanding of P & L and restaurant operationsMust pass required certified sanitation and responsible alcohol vending coursesGreat communication skills. Must be able to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with team members, managers, and guestsHigh school diploma or equivalentFlexibility to work 50+ hour weeks, rotating shifts (including nights and weekends), and holidaysWhat’s in it for you?Hot dog! The pay range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000. Your actual salary will depend on experience, location, and/or additional skills you bring to the table.
