I am hiring on behalf of a luxury hotel in Chicago for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead one of the property’s flagship dining operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hotels, upscale restaurants, or high-end hospitality environments, with proven experience leading a busy restaurant operation and developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day restaurant operation, ensuring exceptional guest service and hospitality standards.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop the restaurant team.
- Oversee service standards, staffing, scheduling, and operational performance.
- Drive revenue, profitability, and overall financial performance.
- Work closely with culinary and hotel leadership to ensure seamless food and beverage operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests and create a consistently elevated dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
- Support events, private dining, and other hotel F&B initiatives as required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Restaurant General Manager or senior restaurant leadership experience.
- Luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or fine-dining background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and labour management.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a large, service-focused team.
- Excellent communication and guest-relations skills.
- Professional, hands-on leadership style with a strong attention to detail.
