Radiology Aide, Part Time Days, CT Scan

Job Overview Radiology Aide – CT Scan Department at Shady Grove Medical Center. As a Radiology Aide, you will support technologists in patient care, ensuring efficient and compassionate service during imaging examinations. Responsibilities Assist technologists to expedite patient examinations while maintaining excellent patient relations. Transport patients to and from the CT/MR department in collaboration with other departments. Manage large patient volumes to maximize throughput and demonstrate teamwork. Prepare patients for the imaging exam, including cleaning up and transferring them to the imaging table. Identify patients accurately to ensure quality and safe patient care, following all patient safety procedures. Document findings in all relevant computer systems (HIS, RIS, tele tracking, PACS). Assist in maintaining inventories. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. One year of X-ray school preferred. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Work Schedule Part‑time; 24 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday, 7:00am–7:30pm.
