Senior VR Unity Developer

We’re looking for a Senior VR Unity Developer to join our team and take ownership of building high-quality VR applications and experiences using Unity. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain immersive VR products across platforms, with a strong focus on performance, usability, and rapid execution. You’ll work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to turn ideas into production-ready VR experiences, often from incomplete or evolving requirements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can self-manage effectively, and enjoys turning abstract concepts into working products. How We Work We move fast and value execution. We expect senior developers to be capable of taking projects from zero to launch within 1–2 weeks , depending on scope. You may need to work with dummy APIs, placeholders, or incomplete designs to keep momentum and meet deadlines. A typical request might be: Build a VR experience similar to this competitor. If Figma designs or full specifications are not yet available, you should be comfortable identifying core components, structuring the project, and making reasonable assumptions to move forward while waiting for final assets. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain VR applications and experiences using Unity Own VR features end-to-end, from concept to deployment Translate high-level ideas and requirements into immersive, intuitive VR experiences Collaborate closely with designers and artists to integrate 3D assets, animations, audio, and interactions Optimize VR performance to ensure smooth frame rates, low latency, and user comfort Profile and improve CPU/GPU usage for VR environments Test functionality, interaction flow, and overall user experience Identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and edge cases, and resolve them efficiently Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions Contribute ideas to improve product quality, development speed, and VR best practices Stay up to date with Unity, VR hardware, SDKs, and emerging VR trends Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of professional Unity development experience , with a strong focus on VR Deep expertise in Unity3D and C# , including scene architecture, UI, input systems, and interaction design Strong understanding of 3D mathematics, physics, and VR interaction principles Experience profiling and optimizing VR performance (CPU, GPU, memory) Familiarity with networking solutions (e.g. FishNet or similar) is a plus Experience working with Git in a collaborative, multi-developer environment Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver under tight timelines Security & Compliance At Supono Holdings LTD , we use tools such as ActivTrak to ensure code security, safety, and traceability.
