Medical Assistant - Endocrinology

Hourly Pay Range: $20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Sign On Bonus: This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus. The first $500 will be paid on the pay date of the pay period in which you achieve your 6-month mark of employment. The remaining $500 will be paid on the pay date of the pay period in which you achieve your 1-year mark of employment, as long as you are still employed in this position at a 0.5 FTE or above. Position: Medical Assistant - Endocrinology Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL and 2205 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove, IL Full Time: 40 hours /week Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours. Rotating every 6th Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs. What you will do: Under general supervision of clinic supervisor, and following established procedures and precedents, prepares patients for physical examination, obtains specimens, conducts select routine laboratory tests and records results, and performs phlebotomy, routine diagnostic tests. Under delegated supervision of a physician; performs clinical and administrative tasks. What you will need: Required: High school diploma or GED Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation Preferred: Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA , RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
